Animar Counters

+1/+1 Counters:

I chose to rebuild my Vorel of the Hull Clade +1/+1 Counters deck into Animar, Soul of Elements because the one thing my counters deck was missing is Haste. Animar does a lot more than just add a great haste-enabling color, she brings a nice reduction to creature casting. This deck focuses on going tall with +1/+1 Counters and swinging hard. Cards like Hamletback Goliath, Vigor, Kalonian Hydra, Master Biomancer, Shapers of Nature, and Zameck Guildmage all help boost your creatures.

Big X:

Animar can really help drop some big X creatures (especially with Hydra's Growth equipped), like Hydroid Krasis, Lifeblood Hydra, Genesis Hydra, and Apocalypse Hydra. Combine this with mana boosters like Nyxbloom Ancient, Regal Behemoth, and Zendikar Resurgent and you'll have some truly monstrous swingers.

Hastey Boys:

As I mentioned before, I felt like a +1/+1 counters deck desperately needs haste, so I added cards like Maelstrom Wanderer, Purphoros, Bronze-Blooded, and Temur Ascendancy. Being able to drop an aforementioned big X creature, and swing with them in the same turn is a game-changer.

Lastly, I tried to add a bunch of value cards to keep the engine running. Cards like Nezahal, Primal Tide, Prime Speaker Zegana, Draining Whelk, Glen Elendra Archmage, and Stratus Dancer all help you keep up or pull ahead.
