Some Elementals Like Watching the World Burn

Burn/Combo deck featuring Omnath, Locus of Rage at helm. This is my main EDH I play while playing a more casual game.

Originally my Mina and Denn, Wildborn deck, I switched to Xenagos, God of Revels due to having most of the cards already and the latter having more bang for buck. I then switched back due to me loving the landfall mechanic. I finally switched to Angry Omnath because I realized that he is more potent as commander, and Mina and Denn were perfectly fine in the 99.

The deck has evolved greatly ever since I initially created it, and I'm happy to say that I traded for a majority of the more expensive cards in the deck. I do not use any infinite combos, but there is one combo that fetches all the basic lands out of the deck. Despite being {R}{G}, you don't always have to attack to win because you can win through burning the table with Omnath, Warstorm Surge, Purphoros, God of the Forge or Where Ancients Tread.

I'm able to afford a majority of the cards for this deck, however I can't afford anything too flashy, like anything extremely expensive on the Reserved List. My next goal is all the fetches!

Please make a suggestion for cuts if you're gonna suggest something, it's just getting a lil too hard to find cards to cut. ;-;

Like every good EDH deck, this has its fair share of winning:

• This deck can technically combo out via Amulet of Vigor/Lotus Cobra + Omnath, Locus of Rage + Perilous Forays to fetch out all your basics and burn your opponent(s) to a crisp, especially with any Warstorm Surge effects! While this is not an infinite combo because you can only have so many basics in your deck, you can still win by dealing a substantial amount of damage and then attacking weakened opponents.

• Resolving Chandra's Ignition targeting Omnath with a bunch of elementals out is a game-ender.

• Perilous Forays + Omnath + Rampaging Baloths + another one of these two results in massive token swarm. Add in cards like Warstorm Surge and the likes for even more burn!

• Come on.. it's Gruul.. and tokens.. what other better way to win than GRUUL SMASH!!
