Introduction and Basic Strategy

Meant to be a casual edh deck, first started as way to play all my angels. A huge challenge was having enough ramp to play all these big creatures.

Kaalia of the Vast and Mayael the Anima are the usual suspects to cheating out these huge creatures. However from a political/social aspect of EDH, i find these commanders to be heavily flagged (threat upon summoning) and are quickly or almost immediately removed from the game. Not to mention, tri colour decks also have a mana distribution problem where duel lands are necessary to reduce chance of being "mana screwed".

This leads me to Karametra, God of Harvests , a solid commander with good ramp mechanics. Being innately sturdy with its devotion mechanics and being indestructible is also a bonus.

Possible Roads to Victory

Playing angels as our core creature type has innate evasion with flying, making them difficult to be blocked by most decks

Our most deadly combo is our lifelink angel combo with Archangel of Thune leading the charge supported by Lyra Dawnbringer and Angelic Skirmisher giving our angel army lifelink and massive +1/+1 counter bonuses

Archangel Avacyn  or Avacyn, Angel of Hope for indestructible into a board wipe, clearing the path for easy combat damage

Mass beat-down with Entreat the Angels using our huge mana pool from Karametra, God of Harvests ramp or Mirari's Wake

Multani, Yavimaya's Avatar with our massive land base + trample and reach

Supporting cards that give AoE Trample such as Brawn , Nylea, God of the Hunt and Primal Rage help to push through decks with low toughness flying tokens

Basic Interactions

1. Stonecloaker and Elemental Bond for card draw

2. Stonecloaker or Whitemane Lion into Aura Shards for single target artifact/enchanment removal
