Grothama, All-Devouring goes in for commander damage like a big, green boss. If I can tutor Vigor then all my creatures attack Grothama and they get a bajillion counters.

Things to make Grothama and friends harder to kill all work here. Lure works with Indestructible, Vigor and Druid's Call

Grothama, All-Devouring + Vigor = counters. If Grothama has First Strike he does damage first meaning the attackers gain counters, then they damage Grothama for an extra 10 counters per attacker
