I've been away from standard for a while after numerous failed attempts at brewing a deck that would generate as much success as my white weenie shell that helped me achieve many first and second place finishes during Khans of Tarkir/Battle For Zendikar standard. But now that Aether Revolt is out, I have decided to try my hand at tinkering with the new Improvise mechanic mixed with the various 0 cost artifacts in standard at the moment. Preliminary tests of the deck show that it has the capability to win on turn 4, but this is against no opponents. Since I haven't been to an FNM in some time, I am also unaware of the current meta. I would be very grateful to anyone that could help me fine-tune this deck so that it would be possible for me to take it to a standard event. Here is a sample example of the strategy I would use against my opponents to defeat them as quickly as possible.

T1: Play Inspiring Vantage, then cast Toolcraft Exemplar and a variety of 3 artifacts. (Bone Saw, Cathar's Shield, Ornithopter)

T2: Play a Mountain, then cast Weapons Trainer. Swing for 4 with Toolcraft Examplar.

T3: Play a Plains, then cast an improvised Enraged Giant. Swing for 12.

T4: Equip all of your creatures with any remaining mana and then swing out with all of your creatures.

Also a tip: Do NOT keep a hand without an artifact in it! They are necessary to the success of the deck, especially if you want to end the game quickly. As always, thanks for visiting my page!

Went 2-2 at FNM. The first match was against WB control. It was a poor matchup for my deck and I was quickly beaten. My threats were continuously being countered by Yahenni's Expertise and Authority of the Consuls. The 2nd match was against GR energy and I was able to go wide and win 2-0. The 3rd match was against UB artifacts. I managed to deal him plenty of damage early in the game, but he regained his life with Aethersphere Harvester and continued to swing in the air to win the game. The last match of the night was against a RB Madness strategy that I won similarly to the game against the GR energy deck. It seems that I am able to defeat most other aggressive decks, but I struggle against decks with answers that are able to stabilize more quickly. Most of the time, I play all of my cards and don't draw gas if the game goes on for more than 6 turns. Overall, I am proud of how my deck did. If anything, this FNM helped me decide what to change in my mainboard and what to put in the sideboard.
