This is my attempt at a competitive modern deck. It focuses on the Hellkite Tyrant + Mycosynth Lattice combo. As soon as I get out those two I use combat tricks to ensure Hellkite's damage gets through. That should give me all of the opponent's board and I will hopefully have the 20 artifacts necessary to win. All of the other creatures are to help find or get those two cards out quickly and chump block to extend the game. Slobad, Goblin Tinkerer protects mycosynth lattice from destroy spells. Hoarding Dragonand Treasure Mage can help get Mycosynth Lattice out or Hellkite Tyrant if Mycosynth is already out.

Where I really need help is determining what combat tricks are the best, how much removal I need, and to develop a sideboard. I run three Abrade currently but I question whether that is enough. All I really need is to survive long enough to hit my combo.
