My gaming group is making tribal singleton decks for casual play against each other, so this is my crack at it: Rakdos minotaurs! Black/red has always been one of my favorite guilds, and this has all the elements I love in an aggro deck; lots of playable creatures with bang for their buck, and some nice spot removal! Combined with the tribal synergy, this deck is a great aggressive build that packs a punch on a budget.

Building on the tribal theme, many of the cards contribute to stacking minotaurs and swinging for the win. Door of Destinies , Neheb, the Worthy , Rageblood Shaman and a host of others beef up the ranks and reward the uniform creature base. Spells like Ragemonger and Hazoret's Monument keep mana costs down along with an average mana cost of 3 to ensure that you get creatures on the field fast to hit hard before the opponent has a chance to build defenses.

Although many of the fighters in this deck are expendable, spot removal is included in this deck to deal with larger threats and ensure damage gets through. Angrath's Rampage , Dreadbore , and Terminate offer elimination for the heftiest of beasties, while burn such as Magma Jet and Kolaghan's Command offer extra zaps and utility. These removals should be used strategically, as the deck is built around getting as much combat damage through as possible.
