All my Homies Hate Tireless Tracker (Bant Clues)

Man, I hate how expensive Tireless Tracker is, but I like the Investigation mechanic a lot. I'm just tired of how the dude is an auto-include in almost every Investigation-related deck. I get that he's a powerhouse of a card, but c'mon.

So I decided to build a budget Investigation deck that does away with Tireless Tracker entirely. If anything, the deck probably functions better without him, as he doesn't exactly synergize with the deck's core strategies.

You basically want to generate clue tokens by attacking your opponent with cheap, unblockable creatures while Ongoing Investigation is in play. Tetsuko Umezawa, Fugitive is key in making most of your cheap creatures unblockable. Once you have enough clues, you can slam down Metalwork Colossus fairly early or buff one of your unblockable creatures with Confront the Unknown to finish off your opponent.

Wharf Infiltrator and Reconnaissance Mission help dig through your deck for your win cons and removal. The Infiltrator can provide Eldrazi Horror tokens for you to block or attack with on occasion as well.

Deputy of Detention and Giant Killer are amazing removal that synergize with Tetsuko.

I'm still trying to refine the mana base/side deck, but Im kinda confident in this deck's ability to win games, or at the very least put in work.

I was also toying with the idea of including Rampage of the Clans as another win condition, but since I'm primarily in Azorius colors, I'm not entirely sure how effective it would be.

I also had the idea of taxing and locking down my opponent with ETB hate while I generated clues since cards like Hushbringer and Strict Proctor also syngerize with Tetsuko. At the very least I included Tithe Taker in the side board to help against Flash-heavy matchups like Dimir Rogues.

Yeah so Metalwork Colossus wasn't as synergistic with this deck as I hoped he would be. The dude only has pseudo-affinity for noncreature artifacts with actual cmc costs, so clue tokens don't count.

I replaced him with Barricade Breaker, but Im not happy about it.
