Built quickly out of what I had around for a “next time we play, let’s all have new decks” challenge. Rienne is not a powerhouse general and this isn’t a powerhouse deck but every single creature in it (~30) is two or more colors and that was fun to build. Plus it surprised me by also being fun to play and stronger than I expected to boot.

So I’m keeping it around for now. Entertain yourself by ramping using strange golden dorks. Drop rienne. Swing team. Great place to put all the neat Boros and Gruul legends that have been chilling forever in a box or a binder. So excited to finally have somewhere to play Brion Stoutarm. Shout out to him + skullclamp + burning tree emissary while rienne is on the field. Get a free throw and a free two cards every turn as the emissary pays its own equip and throw costs and then goes back to your hand on end step.

As it’s full of beast hybrids swingin’ out, I topped the deck off with snow-covered lands and white sleeves for a little Chronicles of Narnia allegory. (Right? Remember that movie? It’s on D+ now and its CGI looks better than the Hobbit trilogy’s)
