Given the sneak peak at the new partner commanders from “Commander legends”, I couldn’t resist brewing something up with Alena, Kessig Trapper, I’ve added Thrasios, Triton Hero to gain access to .

Just some early ideas at the moment but the aim is to mess around with untappers to generate value to close out the game.

An example combo is Alena, Kessig Trapper + Avatar of Fury + Staff of Domination

Cast Avatar of Fury for then tap Alena, Kessig Trapper for 6 use 3 to untap Alena, Kessig Trapper withe the Staff of Domination then use the other 3 to pump the avatar to 9 power, tap Alena, Kessig Trapper again but this time for 9 mana as the Avatar now has 9 power. You could repeat this process to generate infinite mana red mana. This could be filtered through Chromatic Orrery to cast any spells or pumped into Thrasios, Triton Hero to draw what ever we need to win.
