This deck's strategy is to create a bunch of Faerie tokens using Alela, Artful Provocateur's ability and cheap artifacts and enchantments, mostly mana rocks and anthem effects. The deck is essentially a control/tempo shell with a Faerie subtheme; what it wants to do is use effects like Anointed Procession and Kindred Discovery to make each spell that triggers Alela generate more value than the resources put into it would on their own.

In "Magical Christmas Land," it's theoretically possible to make 48 Faeries with one spell; I've pulled this off exactly once. The setup goes: Alela in play, Sakashima the Impostor and Spark Double copying her, then Anointed Procession and Mondrak, Glory Dominus, with Estrid's Invocation and Mirrormade copying Procession. On top of this, if Kindred Discovery or Dire Undercurrents is out, you're also drawing 48 cards. Of course, if you've managed this, the game's pretty much already over, so it's somewhat win-more to try to accomplish it, but I will admit that it's pretty funny when it happens.

Some alternative endgames for this deck are:

• Voltron on Alela with All That Glitters or Paladin Class's final class ability.
• Killing a problem opponent with one unblocked Faerie using clever stacking of Strixhaven Stadium's combat damage triggers.
• Finale of Glory for X = 10 or more.
• Forcing an opponent to attack into your Inkshield with Bident of Thassa's activated ability, then murdering them.
• A possible Laboratory Maniac win using card draw off Kindred Discovery or Dire Undercurrents.
