Sideboard

Maybeboard

This is my attempt at making a Standard deck. I had some of the cards laying around and the others I bought and/or am buying. It's based on getting a shitton of creatures out and thinning theirs down to swing for game early. I really want to run 3x Ammit Eternals in here, but I'm not too sure how that'll work so it's on standby. I have Sword-Point Diplomacy (more effective than you think) and Ruin Raider for card draw. Supernatural Stamina for a little protection and end-game pump. Dread Wanderer and Scrapheap Scrounger for late-game recursion. And the rest, for obvious reasons. This deck is very dynamic, so the description will be invalid much of the time. I change the deck a lot and it changes me. The maybeboard is a bit big, but I just wanted to let y'all know what I might consider as options. I could use a lot of feedback and some ideas on how to fight the meta and/or predicted meta. Thanks all,

Love ya,

P.S.

So I just got 3-1 in the tourney tonight and I'm pretty proud. I had an unofficial match with the guy who won the tournament afterwards and I won 2-1, but the last game wasn't too fair since he needed one more land. That's what my deck's supposed to do though: win before they can get their big stuff and land for such. And if they get such stuff out there, I'll kill it with Walk the Plank and/or all my deathtouch guys. Some life gain helped me win a couple games, but I generally out-paced my opponents, even the vampire aggro. My biggest challenge was burn, but I sideboarded in my last Supernatural Stamina and used it to keep my creatures (usually a Gifted Aetherborn) safe. So, all 'n' all, my deck worked as planned. I do need to get better at sideboarding though. If I can naturally beat the guy that won the tournament then I think I have a shot at victory.
