Reap the Tides Precon Upgrades into a Ramp/Lands Matter/Big Things Tribal

Cards to add/suggestions I'm pondering in the maybeboard.

This deck is meant to be a sea creature/Simic big things tribal, with an emphasis on high power/toughness/cmc synergy and land synergy where it is available. Like most of my Commander ideas, it is meant to ramp early on in the game and generate a good mana base, and have enough momentum to cast big creatures.

This is a WIP Description, as is the deck.

I use low cmc and efficient ramp to build up speed early game. Things like Coiling Oracle also double as card advantage and Ilysian Caryatid can produce more mana as the game goes on. Khalni Heart Expedition is a great delayed-effect land ramp, and it is still valid later on in the game as something to put lands onto the battlefield, and trigger Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait and other landfall effects. Search for Tomorrow is the same. All the other land tutor spells are pretty self explanatory. Growth Spiral effects are also good at digging for lands that can then be played to trigger Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait , that then dig for more lands and more triggers.

I am going to add ": Put a land card from your hand onto the battlefield" effects, I just need to find cuts.

There are a lot of archetypes going around, and one of these is land synergy. The prime example is Aesi, Tyrant of Gyre Strait . It gives me a simple benefit (card draw) whenever a land enters play. It also has the additional synergy of more land plays, which of course helps the landfall one. Khalni Heart Expedition is also good but short term. When you play this deck, you will have 1+ landfall ability on the board at a time. Tatyova, Benthic Druid is also another strong card for fueling land plays and getting value. Something I will add is Retreat to Coralhelm because it also helps greatly with untapping the ": Put a land card from your hand onto the battlefield" cards. Meloku the Clouded Mirror also helps by cycling lands to my hand so I can get a trigger off of them, if I don't have lands to play.

Other great cards are Avenger of Zendikar , Rampaging Baloths , Scute Swarm , Ior Ruin Expedition and Retreat to Kazandu , but these are mostly just good cards on their own and don't do much to support lands themselves.

Interaction is mostly limited to creature ETB effects from Bane of Progress , Reclamation Sage , Scourge of Fleets , Slinn Voda, the Rising Deep , and Terastodon . Whelming Wave can loop with Eternal Witness , but that is rare.

A weak spot is that there is no protection for my board, so my board is open to interaction and creatures will often get removed.

Here is a few synergies that happen with creatures, notable enough to point out.
A few things benefit from the high CMC of the creatures I cast. Imoti, Celebrant of Bounty and Kodama of the East Tree provide cascade/free card effects that benefit off of high CMC, and Court of Bounty can cheat them into play even if they are stuck in my hand. These effects just make the good high CMC cards more worth playing.
High power and toughness can be used in certain effects like Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma , Ilysian Caryatid and Winged Temple of Orazca . Not a whole ton of cards to support this but it still makes the big creatures more worth playing.
A big synergy is also the sea creature tribal I have going on. Cards like Slinn Voda, the Rising Deep and Whelming Wave can wipe out only my opponents boards when I play them as the effect ignores sea creatures. Serpent of Yawning Depths is an amazing evasion tool.

Sadly there are not tons of cards in the deck that use this, but I would love to hear about more.
