This deck is all about walking the fine line between having enough creatures and spells to make everything come together.

In the early game, you generally want to be playing your permanents out, storing up instants and sorceries in your hand, and keep Adeliz attacking and building Commander damage on targets. Voltron Adeliz up with Leering Emblem , Scroll of the Masters , Runechanter's Pike , Diviner's Wand . Reduce mana costs with Baral, Chief of Compliance , Goblin Electromancer , Primal Amulet  , Jace's Sanctum . Draw cards repeatedly using Rhystic Study , Azami, Lady of Scrolls , Kindred Discovery .

Mid game is about controlling the board well enough to survive; thankfully Adeliz is pretty good at going under the radar. Bounce your opponents stuff at opportune moments with River's Rebuke , Cyclonic Rift , Galecaster Colossus . Wee Dragonauts and Stormchaser Mage serve as backup Commanders as they function similarly to Adeliz and can be buffed to lethal rather easily. Copy spells for value with Dual Casting , Dualcaster Mage , Increasing Vengeance , Twincast , Melek, Izzet Paragon , Primal Wellspring , Pyromancer's Goggles , and Thousand-Year Storm .

Late game go for explosive turns by casting Epic Experiment or Mizzix's Mastery . If you have a bunch of wizards out and/or a way to copy available, Burn at the Stake can be a finisher. Seize the Day is also great for pulling out a win, giving Adeliz up to two additional combats and spells cast.
