U/G is one of my favorite color combinations so I finally threw together a Lonis, Cryptozoologist. And while it may be helmed by Lonis, it is actually a Academy Manufactor deck.

The goal of the deck is to get mutliple Academy Manufactors out and then create TONS of tokens. The best thing about this is that multiples stack in powers of 3 which is amazing, so if you have X Academy Manufactors out, and you would create a Food/Treasure/Clue token, instead you create 3^X-1 of each instead, totaling 3^X total tokens. Using this you can close out with a Tezzeret the Seeker ultimate or Rise and Shine to turn all tokens you generate into creatures and swing, chain creatures and deck yourself with a Laboratory Maniac or deck everyone else with Blue Sun's Zenith or tap down everyone's creatures with a Junk Winder and swing over the course of a couple turns.

This deck also gets to use a couple bulk cards that can help you get out of tight spots and in amazing ways, mostly through the use of getting :

Junk Winder - So Modern Horizons 2 had the cool blue/green draft archetype of "Tokens Matter". This was one of the pay-off cards of being able to tap stuff down and get in there. In this deck, you generate TONS of tokens and this card actually winds up being pretty good! You get to Fire / Ice a lot of permanents and do your thing for a couple turns, if you get to clone this a couple times, you get lots of defensive power.

Fangren Marauder - This bulk common from Mirrodin Besieged that was super obnoxious in limited is actually one of the best cards in the deck. All of your tokens are artifacts and trigger this ability. You can gain tons of life, and again in multiples this is amazing. Works well with your commander and Treasure the best but yeah, this card is a powerhouse.

Fae Offering - Green likes to play creatures, Blue likes to play other spells, and if you do both, make 3 tokens (9 with Academy Manufactor). This card is weaker than some of the others on the list, and you shouldn't try to do it every turn that you can, but if its out there you can get some incidental value which is great.

Echoing Equation - This card is awesome in this deck. There are so many good targets that you can hit to really get the most of it and get tons of copies of one card for a turn is great. It's also a big beater for 3 on the otherside as Augmenter Pugilist   if you need that or just to play a creature to get a Lonis, Cryptozoologist trigger.

It should also be noted, there is one infinite combo in the deck, and that's if you have Lonis, Cryptozoologist, 2 copies of Academy Manufactor, and a soulbonded Deadeye Navigator (I know, who ever knew Deadeye could make an infinite combo). Basically, every blink you get 3 treasure, 3 clues and 3 food, so this gives you infinite mana, draw and life. Really easy to win at that point.

You could lean more in this direction but I really just want a deck focused on Academy Manufactor and pumping out tons of the artifact evergreen tokens.

Updates Add

Neon Dynasty has obviously brought some powerful artifacts and synergies with them because, you know, artifact set and all, but there are some that just slot so easily into this deck.

First off, I will just say that these are just the first additions to the deck. I'm sure that there could be a few others as time goes on, and I need to also look into some of the new enchantments for my Uril, the Miststalker deck so right now, these additions are going to just be the cards from the commander deck "Buckle Up".

Buckle up of course is the White/Blue Vehicle focused pre-con deck for the set, and boy did they add some POWERFUL cards into the deck. I'm adding two brand new cards from the deck and 1 reprint because it fits with the theme and also will help start getting us towards filling out the artifact subtheme for the deck. Without further ado, let's look at the changes:

Out: Malevolent Hermit  Flip, Combine Chrysalis, Garruk Wildspeaker

In: Kappa Cannoneer, Cyberdrive Awakener, Mirage Mirror

So we'll start with the pairing that is just a strict upgrade which is Chrysalis -> Awakener: Chrysalis was neat because it is an uncommon, you can churn your tokens you generate into creatures and they fly. It's all well and good but slow. Awakener now gives the evasion Chrysalis did but also what Rise and Shine does. Over all just such a powerful card and can close out games when you can't fully combo off.

Next, I'll take about the other two being taken out: Garruk Wildspeaker was fine, but just not great. The overrun ability is a blank, but he does "ramp" so he was okay but can now be taken out for better cards. Malevolent Hermit  Flip feels like it should be good. It's a mana leak that then can make all your counters and other non-creatures uncounterable. It seems so good, but evertime I drew it, it felt like a blank so it's time for him to hit the showers. Maybe he'll make it back in a future version but not now.

Kappa Cannoneer - Oh boy did they fuck up so bad with this guy. It is going to cost 1 blue most of the time in this deck, and he's such a beating. Unblockable, gets counters when artifacts enter (and we generate a lot of those) and has WARD 4. Hard to kill, can't block, will kill you. Disgusting.

Mirage Mirror - I was eyeing this for the deck before... and I didn't even realize it was in Buckle Up. I'll take the freebie. Can copy Academy Manufactor or other things (i.e. Kappa Cannoneer) before going for the kill, very versatile, and an artifact. Just good.

I'll be looking through the rest of Neon Dynasty to see if there's anything else that could be helpful. Like I said, this is just off of the precon for now but in an arifact deck I'm sure there's something.
