Thrones of Eldraine Abzan Midrange. Will update as more Thrones cards are spoiled.

The goal here is a typical mid range one: to out-value your opponent at every CMC. This is done by having lots of powerful kill spells, lots of strong or valuable creatures, and lots of super nice planeswalkers.

So, early game plan is pretty simple. Gilded Goose and Paradise Druid are our mana dorks, and we hope to play one or two of them to get the tempo going. Two copies of Duress to control their hand early.

Mid game plan is to keep tempo on the board. There's a lot of removal in this area to keep control of the board, such as Assassin's Trophy , Murderous Rider , and Oath of Kaya . Questing Beast is a strong turn three play pretty easily.

Late game, it's all about value. Planeswalker's top out the curve. Nissa, Who Shakes the World and Liliana, Dreadhorde General , AND Garruk, Cursed Huntsman are all pressure building machines.

The land situation is a variety of shocklands and temples for the scry. Four Fabled Passage are also there as both mana fixing and as a way to thin the deck so we can get more value more often.
