Pardon the incredibly forced pun.

Preston, the Vanisher reminds me very much of Teysa, Orzhov Scion (my first Commander)- token making and removal on a stick. Just with non-casting ETBs instead of sacrifice, and blink/flicker effects seem the easiest in mon-White.

So that's the crux of the deck. Casting a good amount of creatures with ETBs, flicker them with Conjurer's Closet, Ghostway, Distinguished Conjurer, etc. Claim value. Its not an aggressive decks, using Preston's Illusions to help control the battlefield and combo opponents to death.

Our combos include: Preston+Felidar Guardian and something to flicker it. Bouncing Guardian makes Preston make an Illusion of it which can flicker the original again. Also there's Restoration Angel + Felidar Guardian, either one targeting each other to set off a chain of infinite ETBs. Combine with Suture Priest for ridiculous amounts of life to stall out, or Altar of the Brood to mill our opponents out. Similarly, Reveillark + Karmic Guide or Sun Titan + Fiend Hunter combined with Altar of Dementia accomplishes the same. Replace Altar of Dementia with one of our Mana producers to get infinite mana. Feed infinite mana into Walking Ballista, ping everyone to death.

All of these also gets infinite Illusions, which we can't go aggressive with, but can let us wipe our opponents' boards.
