Lathiel loves lifelink. Lifelink is the heart of this deck. Being able to gain life by combat damage allows our creatures to do more and more damage. The snowball can rapidly grow with one or two big lifelink creatures early game, or some soul sisters down for passive lifegain.

Things to keep in mind: Lathiel only adds the counters on the end step and only if she is still alive, meaning you will not be going infinite as easily as that heliod loser. Lathiel triggers on each end step meaning gaining life on opponents turns is viable as well, allowing us to play cards like angelic accord comfortably *Always try to gain life before the end step otherwise she will not trigger and you cannot respond by gaining more life if the coast is clear
