Infect can be very effective in Modern. This is not one of those decks. Not yet anyway.

The strategy is simple but susceptible. Basically, I want to get Blighted Agent or Glistener Elf out ASAP and then buff them with green pump spells.

I have to admit, this deck is not super original. I got the idea from a deck a coworker told me about that was dominating certain metas. I tried to make a budget version by adding cheap green pump spells like Giant Growth. This deck was originally my own mono blue infect conception, but the green just sounded too good. So sorry I can't give credit where credit is due, but thank you to the original deck builder.

I know I'll eventually need more fetch lands to make this competitive (pulled one recently), but until I decide to commit that hard on modern, I'm going to add more Hinterland Harbor and Yavimaya Coast and maybe one more Vineglimmer Snarl. I'm open to budget suggestions for lands as well.
