Creature Upgrades and CMC focus —Feb. 20, 2020

Was able to unlock some higher quality cards with arena wildcards to replace some creatures, and dialed down the manabase a bit to compensate for lower average cmc as well.

Removed...

3x Pyroclastic Elemental While I love the art and flavor text, for the CMC it's a hard sale. Replaced for cheaper creatures that were better for the deck theme.

1x Mountain

Replaced With...

1x Burning Prophet for 3 total. Being power 1 means it will trigger Cavalcade of Calamity, and I can cast my burn spells after declaring attackers to buff and keep that extra damage. The scy has come into great help late game too as it lets me move away excess land from top draw, or when using Light Up the Stage. As a bonus these two cards combo together, since I'll scry 1 and then exile 2 cards after to play. Still tempted to get rid of these if I find a better creature at 1 or less power, but seem to be scraping the bottom of the barrel for standard.

3x Torbran, Thane of Red Fell Just too good in a mono red deck not to include. If he is on the field, any of my power 1 creatures become a lot scarier (3 damage). Also if Cavalcade of Calamity is on the field, I can win games outright in the same turn depending on how many power 1 creatures I have on the field and if any are Scorch Spitter

I was looking over this and I like the concept. I would add some conditional burn to the sideboard, such as Carnival / Carnage for those times when a planewalker is present and Collision / Colossus for when flying hit the board. I also liked adding some bigger burns and run a pair of Chandra, Flame's Fury, Electrostatic Field to make the sorcery/instants hit harder, and Electrodominance for some burn plus a freebie.

Also, Anax, Hardened in the Forge doesn't really add to the theme of the deck. Also, since Torbran, Thane of Red Fell is legendary, so you won't be getting more than one out at a time. Running three is a bit ambitious, so knocking that down to two makes more sense.
