cEDH build of Sythis with inspiration from decks by Izlain and Iraruel.

In a meta dominated by turbo ad nauseam and Thoracle I wanted to do something different.

Stax pieces aimed at shutting down a lot of the pieces turbo naus style decks use to get where they need to go. Rule of law type of stax pieces were omitted however since they hurt me as much or more than anyone else.

Basically, try to stax out the early game shutting off artifacts, graveyards, ETB’s etc. and then work towards drawing into my own win-cons. Prison pieces help deal with various threats that come up. There are a couple nonbos in the deck (stony silence shuts down Ballista) but you can either go for a different win or blow it up right before you win. Hopefully, it hurts your opponents more than you until you’re ready to win. But there’s risk involved of course.

Notable Combos:

Heliod, Sun-Crowned + Walking Ballista = infinite damage / infinite life

Siona, Captain of Pyleas + Shielded by Faith = infinite 1/1's .... with Earthcraft in play this will generate infinite mana

Sanctum Weaver + Gauntlets of Light = infinite mana

Sanctum Weaver + Seedcradle Witch = infinite mana

Devoted Druid + Swift Reconfiguration = infinite green mana. The trademarked swift Druid combo!

Destiny Spinner + Seedcradle Witch + Sancum/Cradle + wild growth/utopia sprawl/etc can make infinite mana

Nature's Chosen + a white creature + Cloudstone Curio + a land that taps for at least 2 green + any other green enchantment = infinite mana

Infinite mana (of proper colors) plus Whip Silk or Flickering Ward can draw your whole library.

Cast an arbitrarily large finale of devastation, Walking Ballista with infinite counters obviously gets there too.

This deck has its own version of Intuition with Congregation at Dawn. The 3 card pile going to top would be 1. Destiny Spinner, 2. Heliod, Sun-Crowned, 3. Walking Ballista.

With plenty of mana and an ability to continually cast/recast enchantments you can extort everyone to death with Blind Obedience too.
