Purphoros, God of the Forge deserves a spot. Each vamp you cast will dome all opponents for 4. Scapegoat will help you dodge -X-X, tuck, exile, etc. type boardwipes but with Purph out it also doubles as a finisher.

So should I just cut Impact Tremors and add Purphoros, God of the Forge then? Or do you see any other card that needs to go? I also need space for Scapegoat, taking (cheap) vamps back to hand and recasting them while Purphoros, God of the Forge is out is nuts.

Yeah, probably Impact Tremors and Malakir Bloodwitch. You can swap a land for Vault of the Archangel if you feel you need the lifegain.

Alright thanks again. I have checked out your Edgar deck, really solid list, and have noticed how much praise you have given the card Reconnaissance. Would you say it is worth running in my list, and if so what should I cut for it?

Reconnaissance feels like cheating so I'd 100% recomend it. Maybe New Blood but that honestly depends on your meta... I always wanted to live the dream and steal Utvara Hellkite with it. Vampire Nocturnus is another possible cut. I can't imagine running it without all the fetches, tutors, etc. for a free shuffle and 2nd chance to hit black on top.

The best part of stealing an Utvara Hellkite with New Blood would be the flavor text changing to "The fear of VAMPIRES is as old and as powerful as the fear of death itself".

Ok... so maybe it's the fact that his ability would read "Whenever a Vampire you control attacks, create a 6/6 red Vampire creature token with flying" but I'm still amused by the flavor text.

New Blood is a fun and flavorful card and one can dream of pulling your given example out xD. But yeah, that card can help me disable my opponents' commander and steal scary creatures (my meta consists of decks which can cheat in fat scary creatues) so it is fair to keep that one. Vampire Nocturnus is a gamble, and us Magic players already have a severe gambling addiction. I have Viscera Seer, Bolas's Citadel, Forerunner of the Legion, Florian, Voldaren Scion and simple card draw to help me manipulate my top deck. It is risky but also highly rewarding, giving your tokens a big buff and making them evasive. I am probably gonna cut Elas il-Kor, Sadistic Pilgrim, since it is not a vampire and not that synergistic.
