As much as I love this particular list, I am dissasembling this deck to go all in on Food Chain combo. This new deck closely resembles Food chain Tazri by shaper savant, but has a couple compact backup plans due to the fact that SBT has less enablers than Tazri and needs to play a bit more varied to maximize resiliency I have only tested it briefly, but this new list is SIGNIFICANTLY STRONGER and may be better than FC Proshh, but only time will tell. I have always wanted to focus on Food chain, but until recently I didnt have the tools to make it work. This list will remain as a footnote to demonstrate the evolution of FC SBT.

It gets a static 1 toughness from mike. You need a sac outlet to make the combo work with ballista. As for sac outlet altar of dementia could serve as a backup win condition with food chain and the mike and ballista combo but it would require some kind of overhaul to be worth it. Like an etb creature subtheme

You guys seem to be forgetting for the Mike/Ballista combo, ballista has no toughness, ergo it doesn't need to shoot itself. Remove a counter, ability goes on the stack, state-based check, ballista dies. comes back with a +1/+1 counter due to mike. rinse and repeat till all are dead.
