A small but significant change. —March 2, 2015

A couple nights ago I was finally able to see Cauldron of Souls put in some work (just either never drew it previously or if I did it was inevitably after the turn where having it in play would have been useful), and it was glorious - it got me to thinking though, that apart from having that particular card in play prior to board wipes, this deck has just zero recursion whatsoever. Meanwhile a card I've had around since the original list, that I anticipated would interact amusingly with +1/+1 counters, Ooze Flux, has in reality pretty much been a dead draw and never actually helpful every game it's ever come up in. And so I replaced that card with Creeping Renaissance, which I used to run in my tribal werewolf deck but switched out a while back for reasons. I honestly don't know why I didn't think to consider doing that earlier, the card is a much better fit in this particular deck anyhow.
