A Close Call

Near-Death Experience is a johnny card that begs to be broken. I almost feel bad for using such an obviously combo-intentioned card. But not quite.

The general idea is to stall until you get off an Enduring Ideal fetching Solitary Confinement, then Yawgmoth's Bargain , and finally, Near-Death Experience, paying all but one life to the Bargain on your opponent's end step.

Most of the deck is just stalling 'til you get your combo, and manipulating your draws to ensure you do. See Beyond will help you in case you draw one of the pieces you need to search your library for.

Finally, Greater Auramancy will keep your combo protected for the most part, or at least draw some of the fire.
