Students of Strixhaven! Welcome to Modern Class. Today, we will be learning about Blitz Wizards, a Prowess-based Wizard-Tribal deck with an aggressive curve! Quiet down in the back! No jokes about how aggressive another teacher's curve is! Ahem, anyhow, this aggro deck is very Clever in design. Maybe if your magical Prowess can increase to a Clever Magecraft, you too could be featured in this deck. Now class, leave the Dream-Den behind and pay attention to how this deck works!

Deck Summary

All the best "Prowess" Wizards within the 2 CMC range are found within the colors or Jeskai. These creatures work perfectly with Instant & Sorcery Spells that cost very little to nothing at all! The reason for running Wizards is due in part to Harmonic Prodigy making all of our Wizards trigger their Prowess or Magecraft and additional time. Alongside cheap burn spells and some utility, the Prowess Wizards can increase in power for a very quick victory. Since all of our permanents cost 2 CMC or less, Lurrus of the Dream-Den makes for a perfect Companion to bring back our Wizards.

Clever Lumimancer is an absolutely INCREDIBLE card that came to us from Strixhaven. Her Keyword may not be Prowess, but her Magecraft is a double Prowess! As a one-drop, she's one of the reasons this deck can be a viable one! She's absolutely CRAZY GOOD!
