$50 vampires for a budget tribal deck group challenge. I'm pretty happy with the result. Anowon, the Ruin Sage is a cool vampire commander that probably just gets overlooked because of other, multi-color alternatives, like Edgar Markov .

Anowon comes with a stax effect stapled to him, but you can break the symmetry as long as your deck only has vampires. As long as he's on the battlefield at the start of your turn, each player has to sacrifice a non-vampire creature. But if all you have is vampires, you don't have to sacrifice anything.

Vampires have several cheap lord and pseudo-lord effects, a ton of good drain, one or two control magic effects, and some recursion. When building on a budget, it is probably one of the best options. I really didn't have to make any very hard cuts here.
