The first singles I ever purchased consisted of a couple of Phytohydras to combo with Pariah and Lure. It was a fun combo although not very practical or actually good. Over time I started to add to that deck other golden-bordered multicolored cards that I liked (I always though they gave the deck a royal type of appearance), and since I played mostly GW, I happen to have a good number of Selesnya cards hanging around.

This deck is what eventually came out. It might not be particularly strong or have some specific devastating combos, but it is quite synergeticand, when compared to my other decks and to those of my friends, it still manages to get job done.

I actively avoid spending on expensive cards, so there is a good chance that might be the reason for some awesome-super-synergetic card not being included in my decks
