Sideboard

Maybeboard

Casual U/B Deck that uses a couple (relatively) low-cost Mill spells to beef up it's aggressive 1-2•Drop creatures like Jace's Phantasm and Thieves'Guild Enforcer without going ALL in with the Mill strategy. I've definitely Milled whole decks but it's more of an alternate win-con. I've added a couple Vantress Gargoyle to replace Wight of Precinct Six tothe deck recently as a more consistent form of early-game damage. Even if it can't block after a few turns, Vantress Gargoyle is just a much faster card than Wight of Precinct Six. Other changes in the form of adding two more Fog Bank, Narset, Parter of Veils, and Kaito, Dancing Shadow offer the deck a lot more utility vs more archetypes. I sideboarded Crawlspace but kept Dissipation Field because it's just a super mean card with a unique effect. I definitely don't NEED Dissipation Field in EVERY game but it's a card I NEVER mind casting... It deters a lot of attacks while also allowing me to comfortably let attacks through when I can afford to. Mind Funeral offers an easier, Turn-3 activation of Jace's Phantasm, Thieves' Guild Enforcer, and Vantress Gargoyle when I don't have a Turn-2 Glimpse the Unthinkable. Mind Funeral also helps to reserve Fractured Sanity as part of an alternate win-con or even as a form of card-draw when Cycled in long, drawn out games. The Deck's other creatures Vampire Nighthawk and Grimdancer are, in my opinion, candidates for the game's most efficient creatures that offer Flying, Deathtouch, Lifelink, and Menace at a CLUTCH 3-CMC... This makes every creature in the deck capable of coming back into the game with Unearth. The sideboard is basically the same but I'm still experimenting with the Maybeboard. Particularly the combination of sacrificing Archfiend's Vessel to draw two cards with with Corrupted Conviction and then using Unearth to bring back Archfiend's Vessel as a 5/5 Flying Demon Token
