This is my take on a Yisan Midrange C/edh deck. I'm running the widely used Yisan combo package and running a list of useful utility creatures to respond to immediate threats for numerous combo decks in the meta. Never underestimate the 1 CMC creatures you use in the deck Caustic Caterpillar puts in the work as well as Sylvan Safekeeper and Quirion Ranger on the first verse. Don't forget to double verse on 4 verse counters if you can to get Karametra's Acolyte and Temur Sabertooth from there grab Seedborn Muse on verse 5 or be greedy and double verse again on 6 counters grabbing woodland bellower and whatever other 6 CMC creature that is useful in the situation like maybe Bane of Progress or Duplicant. I made some questionable choices in my list mainly as means to deal with hate cards such as Linvala, Aven Mindcensor, and Cursed Totem. Dealing with cursed totem I have alot of staple artifact and enchantment removal cards and dealing with the creatures I use Savage Swipe mainly targeting Yisan because he has 2 power to fight one of those 2 creatures and for more utility on verse 1 I use treefolk harbinger to tutor up either lignify (as the main target) a forest, or Great Oak Guardian if the situation calls for it. I would love some feedback from the community and appreciate any and all advice!
