Key ideas:

• Tagline: Direct damage for the win!
• Very few creatures, just lots of direct damage.
• The question, really, is whether we can finish off our opponent before we run out of cards!
• Fireblast is a great finisher - four damage, at the low-low cost of sacrificing two of your Mountains
• Searing Blaze is also one we don't want to play until a little bit later - it requires more land sacrifice
• Thermo-Alchemist will untap whenever you cast an instant or sorcery, and can be tapped again to do 1 damage to opponent
• Ghitu Lavarunner will be a hasty 2/2 for 1 if you have two instants/sorceries in the graveyard
