What?! A powerful and competitive energy deck? In modern?!

No of course not, hold your horses. This deck is meant for casual play, it is a lot of fun to pull of but also janky as hell.

The main win condition is Hadana's Climb  . Combined with Winding Constrictor , Hardened Scales and Bristling Hydra , you'll have a 20/20 hexproof flyer in no time. Vines of Vastwood helps keep your creatures on the board while also allowing a 'little' +4/+4 boost (which is +8/+8 with Winged Temple of Arazca activated). Other big creatures have X in their cost, which means they will likely immediately flip Hadana's Climb  .

Incubation Druid , Glimmer of Genius and Attune with Aether help with resource management. Your creatures will become targets for removal fairly quickly so having Vines and Energy counters ready at all times is a must.

Die Young and Abrupt Decay allow you to keep your opponents board in check, because we won't be going very wide. One 10/10 can't stop a horde of 1/1's! (neither can Go for the Throat and Abrupt Decay but hush.)
