The idea is to make lots of creatures, and make them unblockable while disrupting your opponents with hatebears. If you can get a Birthing Pod out you're doing something right. No infinite combos, just pure value. And it's the one EDH deck where Aether Vial is actually good!

The best way to use a Demonic Tutor or similar is probably to get Eternal Witness . Use Witness to get back the tutor, then tutor for Eldrazi Displacer . You can then tutor indefinitely.

Aluren is absolutely disgusting.
