Decided to take a try at modern and this is my first deck I have built. Took Shahar Shenhar's list and splashed black instead of blue to get Bump in the Night, Rakdos Charm, and Crackling Doom.

Crackling Doom seems odd, but I simply could not beat Bogles in a straight up game, can also kill a Siege Rhino or Goyf. Dragon's Claw and Helix come in against other aggressive decks where I need lifegain - Zoo or Mirror match. Rakdos Charm comes in for Snapcaster decks, and graveyard interaction decks. Destructive Revelry com in for tons of decks with enchantments and artifacts. Molten Rain comes in for Tron and any deck that seems to be mana specific. Flames of the Blood Hand against any lifegain deck.
