Is Force of Despair the Answer? —June 5, 2019
Force of Despair allows Midrange Rock decks the ability to counteract aggressive creature decks like Arclight Phoenix, Dredge, and Humans. Is it enough to save GBx Midrange from irrelevance?

I do it in one of my decks (JUND+SULTAI=JUNTAI) and I would like to know your opinion.
PD: I'm new on the community and I'm a bit lost. Could you give me some advice to start?

Hey TheSimikBOat thanks for the suggestion. I’ve actually run a build of Lingering Jund with one Godless Shrine and 2 Lingering Souls MB over Thoughtseize if I remember correctly. Maybe Scavenging Ooze. It was OK. But I think against Spirits it could be a viable gameplan.

How has Ishkanah been in practice for you? It looks like it matchups up well against Arclight Phoenix though I'm curious how it has been?

Hey Oloro_Magic. Ishkanah, Grafwidow came up big against Arclight Phoenix . I’m liking it so far.

Burn is pretty rough. Arclight and Dredge are reliant on scooze Game 1 and GY hate sb. Could probably go up to 4 scooze. Tron is pretty even. Death’s Shadow is about 60/40. Discard is still good combined with exile effects.

You like the idea of adding a Godless Shrine in the sideboard of a jund or sultai deck to dispose of 3 Lingering Souls in the side against the creature aggro decks like humans, zoo, or spirits??
