Maybeboard

This is my take on Mono Green Tribal Elves.

Ezuri is the best commander for the deck but its swappable to any of the other 5 legendary creatures/planeswalker in here to give your games a bit of mixing up. I have played all of the following and it offers something different each time. Eladamri, Lord of Leaves Glissa Sunseeker Nissa, Vastwood Seer Marwyn, the Nurturer Freyalise, Llanowar's Fury

I find switching to one of these makes a little harder to win since your main mana sink through Ezuri's ability doesnt stay around or doesn't even get on the table some games.

That being said while I didn't design the deck to have infinite combos there are numerous and probably a few that I am not even aware of because of all the interactions. The easiest two are Temur Sabertooth + Elf that makes 5+ mana + Concordant Crossroads or Wirewood Lodge + Argothian Elder + Gaea's Cradle/Nykthos/Itlimoc. This lets you draw your whole deck with well of knowledge and pump with Ezuri to infinity.

One of the best cards in the deck is Crop Rotation. While the obvious use for it is to go grab Nykthos or Gaea's Cradle, you could also do a few more things with it. I designed the manabase to support having multiple ways to untap either or have redundancies since those cards are so important to the functioning of this deck. Such as petrified field to get it back if someone destroys it. Another use for Crop Rotation is to save your cradle or nykthos by using it in response to the spell/ability destroying it, getting a Vesuva and copying that land and letting the original target die to the legend rule. This pretty much turns your crop rotation into a stifle of sorts. It can also be used to surprise get Yavimaya, Cradle of Growth when you have Elvish Champion or Eldamari out to make your whole board unblockable.

Overall I am very happy where this deck is at. It has pulled out some crazy wins out of nowhere and has recovered from multiple back to back board wipes through its high creature count and consistent card draw. I have looked over all the available elves in the game and I feel that this list is the best of them if not close to the very best for what they do. While I am always improving the deck the only place I think its lacking a little is in removal and board wipes. Since elves strategy is to go wide you really don't want them in the first place and green just doesn't have any outside of artifact sources like Nevinyrral's Disk effects. I would like to add beast within somewhere and maybe some form of enchantment/artifact hate because as I feel Glissa and Nullmage Shepherd are not enough.
