So, now simic can do Tokens too?! We have a lot of sheniaghans we can get into - there's even more in the sideboard.

If something is too expensive or you cannot proxy in your group, all the cards in the sideboard are serviceable but may not be optimal in some builds. Example: Shark Typhoon and Metallurgic Summonings these cards pack punch! However, they require a high spell density or they'll just end up sitting there not doing much of anything.

With our commander out...

1) Blade of Selves + a good etb creature like... Agent of Treachery become back breaking - or course this is a huge mana investment and something like Eternal Witness comes in for a lot cheaper and can swing for a ton of value too.

2) any cards like Cackling Counterpart start providing us with some insane value. Getting 2 copies of a utility creature or a good etb creature can snow ball us way ahead.

3) Helm of the Host + our commander

T1: 3 copies (includes original)

T2: 11 copies

T3: 2059 copies!

Without our commander...

1) Doubling Season and any planeswalker with a good ultimate - for example Jace, Architect of Thought and Ugin, the Spirit Dragon these 2 can just out right win games off of the seer value their ultimates provide

So, I'm sure you've noticed there are still expensive cards in the mainboard like Doubling Season and Ugin, the Spirit Dragon but there are some medium expensive cards like City of Brass in the maybeboard. Basically, these high end cards are really great but are not require to enable the deck to do what it does. However, if you have them I'd definitely recommend slotting them in; they'll make the deck run much smoother and more consistently.
