Sideboard

This deck aims to keep tempo while forgoing priority, a strange combination that hinges on using the opponent's spellcasting against them. With all possible information at your disposal, determining the best course of action to play at sorcery speed while aiming to leave mana open when possible for responses to attacks or spells cast by the opponent. The tempo game of the deck plays out by finding time to cast powerful creatures, or set up defenses. Myth Realized helps in an effort to disrupt the opponent's profitable attack phases, while creatures like Transcendent Master and Dragonlord Ojutai must be answered or threaten to take over on offense. The key of this deck relies on keeping the opponent off-balance to a point where they think they have a strong play or crippling damage step. This is where Deflecting Palm turns an opponent against them entirely and swings the game into a quick conclusion with reasonable certainty.
