Sideboard

Brewing wolves for standard, they are all very strong, but the standout is probably duskwatch recruiter, very similar to den protector but sooo much better on t2. Arlinn is ok, very strong with the wolves matters card but idk if she'd be great in jund or anything like that. The deck plays between midrange and aggro and is bad against languish but not too weak to kozileks return. Should be tier 2 even at fnm, gonna need some help from eldritch moon for wolves to be competitive playable. It's fun though!

Played in game day with werewolves! As I thought this deck is playable but suboptimal, had a blast though! Went 2-3

Match 1: Thing in the ice control. 3 very close games, lose game 3 because of bad sequencing on my part. Should have left up clip wings but played a duskwatch that was never going to be relevent.

Match 2: Jund. Smashes me two quick games, this feels unwinnable. Languish is a serious reason to not play werewolves.

Match 3: Ramp. He wins one game off a sideboarded undergrowth champion but win both games when on the play. Seems like a very favorable matchup. Kozilek's return only kills so much and only right on turn 3.

Match 4: Blue White Control. Manage to win and rending volley does serious work against counterspells.

Match 5: Lose 2 close games to bant company desperately wishing that there was burn in the deck after aggressive starts and then opp stabilizes. Game 2 never drew a hermit so no idea if that tech is good. Thunderbreak regent from the side was the only good thing I had going, seems like an excellent option. Played Arlinn kord for days and she died quick every time, may not be good in this matchup.

Overall: Geier Reach and village messenger were great, breakneck was worse than expected, dromoka's command and kolaghan's command wrecked me every time either was cast, and definitely want some atarka's command in the main. Heirloom was both great and do nothing depending on the games, and I think it's too unreliable for the maindeck. Probably good sideboard against humans?
