Maybeboard

Using creature based everything to power through your curve, then casting Nikya asap to create ridiculous mana and cast insane creatures.

UPDATE!: Balanced the curve, this was what, 5.2 CMC before? That's just ridiculous to play around before Nikya is out, so it made early game rough. Since by turn 3 you would already be behind on value, the CMC lowering and focus on getting triggers from the other creatures allows for more stable and long lasting gameplay, while also allowing for a still satisfying Stompy experience.

UPDATE 2!: Added some budget upgrades for those with expensive taste, thanks NV_1980 for the suggestions!

  1. Anax, Hardened in the Forge+Savageborn Hydra -> Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker+Zealous Conscripts/Combat Celebrant/Coercive Recruiter/etc.

  2. Keeper of Fables -> Ashaya, Soul of the Wild, Keeper of Fables draw engine isn't very cost effective, and Ashaya's value potential with Nikya of the Old Ways is much more valuable.

  3. Arasta of the Endless Web -> Prowling Serpopard, just a hands down better interaction with counter spells, especially in such a high CMC deck, where constantly getting countered would crush the value.

  4. Nessian Hornbeetle -> Vexing Shusher, same CMC, but Nessian takes much longer to gain it's value, while Vexing Shusher's counter ability works great with the high mana base of this deck. There is a potential for Nessian Hornbeetle to have value in an infinite combat step combo, but it's value there is niche, and isn't practical (for this specific deck.)

  5. Dawnglade Regent -> Archetype of Endurance, Monarch is a great mechanic, but the hexproof is just more valuable here, with spot removal protection being a great way to protect that massive boardstate.

  6. Fyndhorn Elves -> Birds of Paradise, pretty self explanatory, can tap for R/B, and is a flying blocker for emergencies.

  7. Etali, Primal Storm -> Vigor, Vigor is a great card to help smooth out this deck's combat, as it allows you to swing out with all your value engines even when swinging into other powerful creatures, supporting a go wide strategy.
