Based on Shedding tears: Golgari Crocodile Tribal. Fundamentally, the idea's still the same. Big crocodiles whose ETB -1/-1 counters get shunted onto something that either doesn't care or relishes them.

Dropped Oashra Cultivator; replaced with Exemplar of Strength. Plenty of ramp in the Channeler Initiates, and it triggers Crocanura's evolve. Only 0/3, so it won't survive the other two humans' ETB counters, either. Reduced by one each Baleful Ammit and Crocodile of the Crossing. Trying to make more consistent by rebiasing the curve.

Replaced Read the Bones with Scarscale Ritual. It's worse and this deck can shrug off either counters or life payments as easily as the other, so it came down to CMC. There's argument for Survivors' Bond, but I tend to get more bringing back a pair of crocodiles than a human and a something, even if it means they have to come in with a counter on them.

Traded out Rabid Bite for Heartless Act. Solid removal, but also lets me take counters off an Ammit Eternal that can't get through. Ideally, you would use Fate Transfer, but that needs a creature with a bunch of counters, your side or theirs to get anything decent out of it. I will say it's much better in the context of a turn two Exemplar, since it removes a blocker /and/ gets you to swing for four on turn three, but it feels inconsistent. Changed out Adventurous Impulse for recursion and counter shuffling.

Expanded colors to BUG; changed lands to match, though I also swapped some plain dual lands for stuff that gives life on ETB. Can just as well use scry, but those generally cost more.

Unstable Mutation synergizes very well, especially with Exemplars. Constant lifegain and a 7/7.
