Whilst creating Lurid Fantasies and examining Herald of Anguish, I thought up this abomination. A fun fusion between 8 Rack, Affinity and Control.

● Cast cheap artifacts and control your opponent's hand with Thoughtseize, Inquisition of Kozilek, Wrench Mind, Liliana of the Veil & Davriel, Rogue Shadowmage.

● Herald of Anguish drops easily with 'Improvise' and helps keep the opponent's hand size down. Also acts as efficient creature removal mid to late game or to stem bleeding (last ability), giving the racks extra clock.

● Chromatic Star helps with mana fixing and can cantrip.

● Urza's Saga provides mana, creates scalable blockers and tutors for pieces.

● Ensnaring Bridge keeps opponent's creatures at bay while also protecting Liliana of the Veil & Davriel, Rogue Shadowmage.

● End the game with damage from The Rack, Shrieking Affliction, Davriel, Rogue Shadowmage and Herald of Anguish swings.

Sideboard:

● Circumvent 'Hexproof' with Detection Tower and clear obstacles with Blast Zone.

● Bottled Cloister for card advantage, protection from hand disruption and ideal Ensnaring Bridge enabler.

● The Elderspell for annoying planeswalkers and more loyalty counters for Liliana of the Veil & Davriel, Rogue Shadowmage!

● Waste Not is hilarious for extra support - adds insult to injury.
