Life Manipulation: such as Phyrexian Purge and Fire Covenant while gaining (more like replacing) life with lifelink. Shadowspear is a personal favorite, but I respect my elders so Basilisk Collar Can be vital. Whip of Erebos is an MVP, front and center. Not only does it provide lifelink, but it can re occur creatures so that I can get “full” advantage of them.

Combat Advantage: Such as taking extra combat steps with Combat Celebrant and another favorite, Seize the Day and abusing keywords. Menace for one is easily exploitable with Vorrac Battlehorns and Silent Arbiter. Can also try to navigate around the battlefield with either Sword of War and Peace or Sword of Feast and Famine. You can also try and go for straight up unblockable with some commander staples such as Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth + Filth.

Aggression: Rakdos needs haste, and this deck is no different. The difference between winning and losing could be one combat steps, so I try and get as many as possible. Creatures and enchantments such as Ogre Battledriver and Fervor can give me the advantage, however Hammer of Purphoros is the MVP here due to the synergy with my commander to turn lands into card draw.

Essentially the deck tries to utilize as much ramp as possible, but within’ a reasonable budget. This is a paper deck and besides a few cards, tried to uphold a relaxed budget. In case you are wondering, you can easily take out people with Greven and don’t need high power cards to do such, they just increase your odds. Shoutout to Manifold Key! The synergy between that and a simple Sol Ring or Basalt Monolith can be so good.

I’ve seen this deck take out three people by turn 5 (cough cough Tainted Strike), but a lot has to go right. It shares it’s troubles with other tron decks. Greven DTR, nothing you can do about that. If played smartly, this deck can contend in cEDH, but I do not recommend it u less it is fully stacked. The ideal range is probably top end kitchen table/ LGS play.
