I am a blue mage. Since I started getting serious about Magic, I knew my colour alignment was with blue, but now I have proof.
4-player chaos. My Mono-Blue Wizard tribal deck was up against a Red-Green Goblin, Red-White Goblin and Mono-White Weenie deck. I was not expecting to win (as is usual).
My board presence grew quickly. I got an Apprentice Wizard down on turn 3 and had both Arcanis the Omnipotent and Azami, Lady of Scrolls out by turn 7. Mana curve flooded me out, but with Oona's Grace I don't think that'll be a problem.
Everyone ignored me and didn't realize I had answers for a lot of things. The opponent with R/W dropped a Coat of Arms. Their goblins got huge... but so did my wizards. Both Vedalken AEthermage's got cycled to bring out both Nameless One's.
10 wizards in play, 19/19 monsters. R/G attacked R/W for the kill, made a play mistake, which left me open to swoop in and eliminate him.
Absolutely thrilled this deck worked out so well. I think I'm going to build a sideboard now. It's any incredibly fun deck to play. Exactly what I set out to build.
