I saw his deck, wanted to build a faerie control deck, and I started re-working his list to my needs. I had previously built a faerie aggro deck, but it lack finesse and fine-tuning, this deck however offers some great control elements and is a lot of fun to play.

Lands:

3x Creeping Tar Pit - Sure it comes in tapped, but it is a 3/2 unblockable creature, so it can chump when I need it, or get in damage when I want to go in for the kill.

3x Darkslick Shores - An alternative to Watery Grave, I usually can get these down early enough to make them come in untapped, and they give me great mana fixing.

3x Island - The most powerful card ever printed.

1x Swamp - The 2nd most powerful card ever printed.

4x Polluted Delta - Mana fixing fixes mana. Being able to get get what color of mana I need is powerful. Triggering "revolt" on Fatal Push is just gravy on the fries.

3x Mutavault - More manland action, and it gets bigger, or it helps enable other faeries. Either way, a win-win for me.

4x River of Tears - The least popular of my land choices. I personally think this is a beautiful card, and it has a lot of potential. On my turn, it gives me black mana for the spells I need it for, and on my opponent's turn, it's blue mana when I need to counter stuff.

1x Watery Grave - More mana fixing in the form of a shock land, also fetchable.

2x Ghost Quarter - Destroy those pesky manlands my opponent is using, or to get rid of their mana fixing.

Creatures:

4x Spellstutter Sprite - A flash-able counterspell that gives me a flying beater or blocker, depending on my needs.

3x Mistbind Clique - The faerie that cause gives me tricks and shenanigans. Lots of fun to bounce something to get a 4/4, only to remove it, get back the original faerie, and their trigger.

2x Scion of Oona - This makes my faerie token swarm more lethal and that much harder to deal with. Love this card.

2x Vendilion Clique - A 3/1 flyer with flash that also works like a thoughtseize too. I only see value here. It combos well with Mistbind Clique too.

Spells:

1x Batterskull - A one of, not so much as a win con, but a recurring nuisance for my opponent, that also helps address the life loss of Bitterblossom.

4x Bitterblossom - The back bone of the deck. Landing one of these makes losing almost impossible. Landing multiples is just overkill.

2x Spell Snare - Counter spell for one mana!? What is this madness? Great for shutting down all things costing 2.

3x Cryptic Command - Counter and Draw. Counter and Bounce. Bounce and Draw. Just everything I need when I need it.

3x Ancestral Vision - I cast this turn 1, and 4 turns later, we have gas. There is nothing like draw 3 cards for a single blue mana.

3x Fatal Push - The newest kid on the block. This removal spell is already cutting it's teeth on all manner of creatures. 1 mana to remove a CMC 2 or less, beautiful, trigger revolt and 1 mana to remove a CMC 4 or less, that is ungodly.

1x Murderous Cut - Delve-able removal spell to hit all things Fatal Push can't.

1x Inquisition of Kozilek - Removes low CMC threats.

1x Mana Leak - Counter, classic counter.

1x Countersquall - Counter and life loss for my opponent, what's not to love.

2x Thoughtseize - My only regret is that I don't have the original artwork for this card to suit the faerie theme. Hand disruption, what more does it need to do?

1x Go for the Throat - Cheap removal suite to get rid of pesky things I wasn't able to counter.

Updates Add

I've assembled most of this deck, sans the two Liliana of the Veils, and I've opted to put in 2 Tasigur, the Golden Fang to help fill the void. So far, I must say that the deck performed admirably. I would like to add an additional Cavern of Souls to the list and swap some of the lands for a few basic Swamps to help deal with Blood Moon. Overall though, I was able to overcome most of my opponents, the only exception being a RDW that was able to get an early lead. I suspected that this might be one my weaker match ups and I forgot to bring my sideboard so I was running with just the core 60. I can't complain. I did win one round of that match and I was able to take all of the other games. I am looking forward to continuing to refine this list.
