This is all about the -1/-1 counters, token generation and generally being a nuisance. There are more competitive builds of Hapatra but I have gone for one where, once the engine gets rolling, the token army is unstoppable. When the ramp and fast mana comes ion early it is a very strong deck,. but it is not super consistent. There are some infinite combos in there as well using Hapatra, Yawgmoth and Zulaport Cutthroat or Obelisk Spider with a few tutors to help them happen but I don't want to go full cEDH with it and the chance of whiffing makes it more fun for me and my opponents.
