This deck had Karn, Silver Golem at the helm basically just because I didn't want to build around Hope of Ghirapur. Then, Karn, Legacy Reforged got printed and I love mana fixing in the command zone. As a colorless deck, it's filled to the brim with utility lands and nasty combos. Infinite mana from Basalt Monolith, Karn, Silver Golem's activated ability, and Voltaic Construct? Sure, don't mind if I do! Mass land destruction from turning opponents' lands into 0/0 creatures because they're artifacts with Mycosynth Lattice? It's a good thing we have Darksteel Forge or I might worry about an Armageddon in retaliation! But what can we do with all that mana advantage? Win with Walking Ballista? Cast everything in the deck with Mystic Forge? Make one guy really big with Nettlecyst? Sounds cool! What if that guy is Kaldra, since there's all three of Helm of Kaldra, Shield of Kaldra, and Sword of Kaldra plus Kaldra Compleat for kicks? Unwinding Clock is great when everything is an artifact. Thran Temporal Gateway is just "play that Blightsteel Colossus for 4." This thing is recklessly over the top and I love it.

I added the Karns that weren't in the deck before, which incidentally means there's a Karn, the Great Creator + Mycosynth Lattice lock in here now; I'm gonna have to keep an eye on that so folks aren't having a bad time.
