Profane Tutor + Shared Fate = lol. Have you ever wished you could play a powerful expensive deck like the one your opponent has? Well now you can with Shared Fate. The beauty of it is that after you put Shared Fate on the field, your opponent can’t use Profane Tutor. It’s even more dastardly than the Scheming Symmetry + Thought Scour combo (as funny as it is). But the novelty of Symmetry and Scour wears off quickly whereas Shared Fate screws up the game unless your opponent has an answer for it immediately. It gets better: Shared Fate has no way to win. Your opponent can use counter spells, card draw (which is replaced by Shared Fate’s trigger), and removal, but will eventually run out of cards. This is still a work in progress. Needs a solid defense against burn and better answers against a UW control. Why Deadly Dispute? It works well with Hard Evidence and can actually help get Shared fate out on turn 4. The treasure token is also useful for the mana base after you gain access to the opponent’s deck. Praetor's Grasp is also interesting here. Prior to Shared Fate coming into play, it’s useful. After Shared Fate, it’s a 3 cost Demonic Tutor if you use it and not very helpful to the opponent if they use it (outside of looking through your deck and seeing what’s there). Fairly consistently gets Shared Fate out on turn 5. Sometimes turn 4 with the mana from a treasure token.

I’m actually thinking about bringing this deck to a Modern night. I’ll probably get my ass kicked and I’ll probably have some fun. Just to see the look on my opponent’s face when I explain that you can only suspend Profane Tutor from your hand, not when it’s exiled with Shared Fate.

After playing an actual game with this deck, I found that Deadly Dispute enabled my opponent to use cards in his hand he otherwise wouldn’t have been able to and I have since removed it.
