Powerful midrange Meren deck. The main lines of play are ramping quickly and searching up Survival of the Fittest to acquire the Necrotic Ooze, Triskelion and Phyrexian Devourer combo. Creatures like Sakura-Tribe Elder and the elf package led by Priest of Titania can produce a lot of mana quickly. Urborg/Coffers and Gaea's Cradle are also great at getting your mana up there, as well as the underused Frontier Siege.

Another line of play is lockdown with Contamination. With Contamination in play along with Meren and a counter or two with a cheap creature can lock the game down for your opponents. This can also be achieved with Awakening Zone and From Beyond. Be sure you have some way of making green mana with dorks or Frontier Siege.

Of course this deck can function like a typical reanimator deck utilizing cards like Animate Dead, Buried Alive and Victimize. This can be an easy route to victory assembling the Ooze, Triskelion, Devourer combo or Trike and Mike.
