Get huge mana discounts using Saheeli, the Gifted's +1 to cast big X spells on the cheap.

Soften up your opponents with cards like Reckless Fireweaver and Fathom Fleet Swordjack, then go in for the killing blow with Crackle with Power or Jaya's Immolating Inferno.

Dragons, with their natural affinity for artifacts, find a home here as a sub-theme.

Really enjoying the deck's play patterns. Depending on your opening hand, you can be more aggressive with combinations like Loyal Apprentice thopters, Urza's Saga constructs, and Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer's token copying ability.

Or you can go a more controlling route with multiple advantageous board wipes such as Blasphemous Act and Reckless Endeavor. The fact that Saheeli survives your own board wipes as a planeswalker means that you can generally start to rebuild fairly quickly.

The combo element of the deck really shines when you can chain multiple one drops such as Sol Ring, Skullclamp, and Soul-Guide Lantern with Saheeli's +1 to Dragonstorm multiple hasty and artifact-loving dragons such as Galazeth Prismari, Goldspan Dragon, and Hellkite Igniter right onto the board and into your opponents' faces. Firkraag, Cunning Instigator is a new addition that seems like it will play well with the other dragons.

Special shout-out to Liquimetal Torque for consistently overperforming. It combos with so many other cards such as Abrade, Vandalblast, Resculpt, and Ravenform to remove problem cards that Izzet can struggle to deal with such as planeswalkers, enchantments, and indestructible creatures. This unsuspecting mana rock also enables politicking with other players who have artifact removal as well. One of my all-time favorite cards and it finds a perfect home in this deck.

Artifact Spellburn can adapt to numerous different situations while also providing numerous threats of its own. Goldfish some hands and thumbs it up if you like it!
